To explore is to learn. In order to find out what really makes you grow, you have to explore different paths. You have to think outside the box. Like Mark Twain said, you have to "sail away from safe harbors". Someone once said to "stop thinking you have to think outside the box for there is no box." So true. We feel compelled to compartmentalize everything...including our thoughts and dreams. Eliminating the concept of a "box" just opened up a vast new horizon.
If one effort does not work, do not throw in the towel. It simply means there is another avenue to try. Booker Washington once said, "You measure the size of the accomplishment by the obstacles you had to overcome to reach your goals". Nothing great comes easily.
There are countless ways to explore how to make your dreams a reality. Take time to read, research the internet, talk to like minded people, or whatever is relative to your goal. One step leads to the next one and before you realize it, you will discover things you never knew. The more you learn, the more you will realize the knowledge you have learned is simply a tip of the iceberg!
As you explore, you discover. As you discover, you grow. As you grow, the more grateful you become. The more grateful you become, the more that comes your way. The ripple effect of your life process is endless and you will find the "secrets" of life were always within you the more you explore the world we live in together.
How do you discover something new? Volunteer at a place to help others. Use Google to find something that peaks your interest. Watch a movie if you never do. Go for a drive to see a part of your town, city, or country you have never seen. Go to a museum or zoo. You get the idea. After you start doing something to discover or see something you didn't know about, more ideas will emerge.
Document different places or things you do in your diary. As the diary fills with your words, you will be interested in observing changes that take place within you. Never stop...live, love, give and receive, then give back more. Make it the ride of a lifetime...for that is what it truly is!
